Do you know that the national flower of Malaysia is the hybiscus? I guess that's enough introduction to Malaysia! *grins*
Malathy acca is their mother and Ram anna is their father. Ram anna happens to be the personal secretary of the Sultan of Selangoor. Malathy acca is an extremely talented dancer and a vocal artist. She performs extensively in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia. She also makes the most fabulous of thosais! *chuckles*This is Malathy acca with her youngest child, Krishietha. It was taken at Genting. Now Krishy babes is the cutest of cute! She is also quite mischievous and petted! She's an absolute bundle of joy and is 4 yrs old now. Oh yes, you must hear her sing "Kundrathilla Kovil Katti Kumalama Kumi adichu", where she pronouces all the K's as G's, so the song becomes "Gundrathilla Govil Katti Gumalama Gumi adichu..." This picture taken at Genting, which is the Malaysian equivalent of Sri-Lankan Nuwareliya.
This is Krishy Babes and Manicula at Penang. Well Penang is quite the tourist area with it's sandy beaches and historic sites. Ram anna is originally from Penang and has all his family there! Penang is about 3 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur (KL), where Malathy acca and them live. This was also taken at Genting at one of the rides. The two young ladies here are Sangeetha and Vijitha. Sangeetha is in Form three and is seven yeard old. Vijitha is in Form Five and is nine years old. Both of them attend a Malay school called Asuntha and both are naturally fluent in Malay. Sangeetha is the delicate, feminine type and loves singing, dressing-up, and dancing. Vijitha is quite tom-boyish and loves sports. She's very easy going and relaxed about dressing and takes on a casual attitude. Both of these kids are quite brilliant in school and are extremely helpful to others! Oh this wonderful picture was taken at Sunway Lagoon which is a water-theme park. We had so much fun there! It's situated in KL as well and is a must-visit, tourist attraction. Well here you see Vijitha, my Grandmother, Sangeetha, Manicula and Rathy amma who is Malathy acca's mother and my Grandmother's youngest sister. Rathy amma is extremely caring and kind. She is also am amazing story-teller. Well while me and Manicula were at KL, we were invited for a wedding and voila the picture. It was a traditional hindu wedding. Here you see, Manicula, Malathy acca, Aunty Tat, a co-chair of the KL Twin Towers, my Grandmother, Rathy amma and ofcouse Krishy Babes. The other kids were at school that day and were unable to attend the wedding.
