Welcome to my Web site! Well, I finally have a webpage up and running.. It's still barebones, so bare with me while things are still being conceived. Anyone with any suggestions or proposed contributions to the page, feel free to e-mail me at anytime.
Just to let everyone know, On October 24th and 25th of this year, our very own Little Hands of Concrete, Mr. Elvis Costello, will be performing live in New York City! Some of you may recall my futile attempt this summer to see him live in Toronto with my Poor Napoleon, Ken. Unfortuantely, we were Busy Bodies this summer, and our voyage to see the King Horse went 5ive Gears In Reverse. As a result, The Goon Squad never made it to the Mystery Dance, and there was No Dancing for us Big Boys, as we were fresh out of Clean Money! So it was back to the Hoover Factory, where our dreams of seeing the King of America were Just a Memory. Luckily, we didn't have to suffer the Eisenhower Blues much longer. It turns out Mr. Costello's schedule was Getting Mighty Crowded, as he decided to take advantage of the Oppurtunity for another North American Tour this year! Canada, however, was Beaten to the Punch, and all the dates on this tour werre in the U.S. So, with our plethora of Elvis Costello references at an end, Ken and I put forth our most humble request, that you take the time to make a small contribution to the Send Jim and Ken To New York City to See Elvis Costello Fund. And for those of you out there looking to get me a birthday gift (November 3rd's just around the corner, folks!) and can't figure out what to get for the man who has everything, a contribution to the fund makes a GREATLY appreciated gift. Movie Mondays Ok everyone, Jason Tentor and I are putting together a weekly film group that meets on mondays to watch silent, obscure, foreign and classics that you've never heard of, while munching down on takeout.
