Cata gata

Concept

Four big morse code tapppers infront of a projection screen. The tappers are labelled c g a t and are like tractor seats. Visitors sit on them and tap away. every time somebody taps on one the counter goes up and maybe a noise is heard. There is a sign saying when this counter reaches 3,000,000,000 we will have put in enough code to describe the dna in a single human cell.

Physical interface
Four tractor seats are positioned infront of a projection screen.

Interaction

On the tv screen a letter comes up and the person on the corresponding seat must bounce once and the counter goes up by 1 and the sheep say the letter that is bounced, there is also a thermometer animation that will take over the middle of the screen every 100 bounces, that shows the progress of the counter in terms of the dna code for various organisms. If someone on the wrong seat bounces the word "mutation" flaches on the screen, the sheep may momentarily become mutant and make a strange noise,  but the counter still goes up by 1.

Information provided by exhibit
How huge the amount of info in the humans (and other organisms) genome is and that the code is made up of combinations of c,g,a and t.
