Concept
The user places tiles into the nests to spell out words andf definitions
of the worsds are presented on the screen.
Physical Interface
A chook yard / coup with a nest on top of a box. The box has two buttons
on the left hand side and a storage space for the tiles in front of the
nests. The row of nests is 960cm long and 120mm wide (dimensions of existing
tile frame)
Interaction
There will be a row of nests into which will fit 8 tiles with eggs drawn on them and a different letter on each egg. The user will spell out words with the eggs by putting them into the nests, if the word is longer than 8 letters they will press the "continue" button and take out the letters they have put in and start from the next letter in the word they are trying to spell. Once they have a word they press the "eggspurt" button and a definition of the word is displayed on screen. the computer learns new words and is updated as it goes.
