L'Oeil
A French
term, meaning to fool the eye
These stools needed refinishing,
so I decided to put a Trompe L'Oeil Pie (my daughter's favorite food) and
a stack of pancakes (below - my son's favorite) on them!
This is the cupboard where I
keep my baking supplies! I paint what's inside, That way, when
I get old and feeble, I'll know what's inside that cupboard!

A good friend of mine constructed
these children's chairs from a pattern I got out of a "How to" book, then
I painted them,using my own modified drawing of the original pattern. I
used oils as this is more durable and long lasting.
I sell these at $195.00 each,
or the pair for $350.00
