I Have A Secret

A work in progress...or in the garbage...

I have a secret
I know what I am
Woman
S t r o n g
A dusky jewel in the starry night sky
Radiating a prism of life-giving light
Rainbow color that illuminates
That shadowy curse of a mundane life

Yeah...I've heard the words
But tell me again
You see, I've got another secret
I'm weaker than a lamb
Vulnerable
Raw
I know what I am
Woman

The world wears me down
And I think I'm gonna cry
I stay strong for my loved ones
'Sides...my Love is.....gone

Ain't Idealism a bitch?

I've got a secret, baby
I know what I do
Got a smile reaches way deep in your heart
Got voice that's a whisper I heard in your sigh
My eyes are the windows into your vibrant soul
I weep at the purity of who you truly are
Oooh how I love the beauty of you on my mind
Your happiness is my private joy

My love is the intensity of ten thousand suns
A purity rivaled by its blazing tour de force
It glimmers and dances
Entices and entrances
Love me
Leave me
I know what I am
Woman

Yeah, I've heard the words
Please tell me again
You see, I've got another secret
I think I'm slipping away

The chill of distance
The unanswered caress
The world is a python
And I think Love is the prey
Here, take this trinket
This piece of my soul
You see, you have to be strong for me
Be happy and find your real destiny

Ain't Idealism a bitch?

I have a secret
I know what I am
Woman
S t r o n g
A dusky jewel in the starry night sky
The light of my love I beam across the universe
Lightyears after the lonely supernova strikes
These gifts will still light a mundane life

I am just a woman
