Autumn
I take in the beauty of the many coloured leaves, jubilant to behold such splendour
However almost dejected, I have a feeling of melancholy
Summer is coming to an end, and so much more seems to be discontinued with the change of the season
The birds are in flight, it fills me with a foreboding
Autumn I have lost much to you
The magic spells of summers' care free days are beginning to wane
Time to prepare for the coming winter
And yet there is a sense of excitement with the changes occurring about me
With summers' passing there are new sensations
Although I mourn for the loss of summer, the release of heated night fancy
Time to face the cold realities of the coming winter
To learn to cope, not to hibernate when daunted
It is up to me to make the choice
