A woman stood alone
Alone as she could be
On top of a cliff
By a raging sea

She found her lover had
Been unfaithful you see
Which is what had brought her
To the cliff by the sea

The memory of what
Brought her to this place
Made the tears flow down
Her porcelain face

The wind whispered her name
Through the night air
As it whipped through
Her long flowing hair

As the water surrounded her
Sealing her fate
She heard him scream her name
But it was too late

For a year her spirit walked nightly
On the cliff by the sea
Repeating her descent
So methodically

Now a broken man stands alone
On the cliff by the sea
Grieving for the love he destroyed
So unfaithfully

As he plunged from the cliff
To the fate he seeks
He hears a whisper of his name
A breath on his cheek

As the water engulfs him
His spirit takes flight
Far above the waters
Toward the moonlight

Where there he finally
Joined his lost love
In spirit form towards
The heavens far above
