The clocks ticks forever on
As time speeds swiftly by
But for those of us
Who wait for Death
The hour never comes.

The days come and go so fast
The nights drag slowly by
Darkness embraces me within
As eagerly I await the touch
Of Death's eternal kiss.

To sleep within his sweet embrace
His arms to draw me closer still
To never be alone again
To feel the pain forever gone
For this my soul so eagerly longs

The years go on and on
As months seem longer still
My love calls to me
Like a whisper on the breeze
Tis Death that beckons unto me.
I hear his sweet whisper upon my ear
As closer and closer he draws near
I reach to draw him closer still
His words caress my aching heart
Tis this world I long to depart.
