Our eyes met
maybe for the last time
 
as tears rolled down mine.
 
You did not understand
the gravity
as you looked through
unseeing eyes.
 
My heart was heavy
as I bid you goodbye.
 
'Cause
the next time I'd see you
 
it would be through
grieving eyes.
