Gray skies
Replaced the sunny days.

Tearful frowns
Replaced the smile.

Empty arms
Replaced the heart felt hugs.

As she held on
All the while.

Star filled nights
Go unnoticed.

The moon
Has lost it's lure.

Light heartedness
replaced by sorrow.

For which
there seems no cure.

Silence replaced
The frequent talks.

The night
Is no longer shared.

Emptiness replaced
The comfort

For they're no longer paired.

Feeling
She'd never love him.

She had to let him go.
Now she sits and wonders,
Why she misses him so.
