She
has so many mixed emotions;
She
feels confusion in her mind.
She
doesn’t know what to feel or think;
She
has the urge to run and hide.
Away
from the monster he created,
One
that will no longer sleep.
Made
of all the feelings, that were found
Hidden
somewhere, way, down, deep.
She
should hate him for what he has done;
Awakening
the deep feelings in her soul.
They
would have been better left to sleep;
Awakened
they are hard to control.
But
she still craves to feel his touch,
Which
has suddenly grown so cold.
She
yearns to show her affection,
But
fears his rejection, within her soul.
She
wants to share all her feelings
And
every thought, that crosses her mind.
Now,
when he says he wants to know,
She
feels, he’s only trying to be kind.
So
again, she embraces the silence.
To
her feelings, she has to make him blind.
She
doesn’t want him to shoulder the pressures,
Of
her passions, on his mind.
Usually
she controls her emotions
So
he never has to hear,
As
she lies awake beside him,
The
silent shedding of lonely tears.
Why
should she care so much,
As
she yearns for his attention?
When
in truth all that he had shown
Is
his ability for deception.
But
she stills sees all the good,
That
is deep within his soul,
And
hungers to feel the tenderness,
That
she fears, he will never show.
While
considering her options, she bides her time;
Praying
friendship is what he senses.
Maybe,
somewhere in the future,
She
can once again tear down her defenses.
