Laughter is the music of the soul
But my soul sits in an empty theatre
There is not a note to be heard
The orchestra is missing
My soul is alone
Alone in the theatre
No other souls, no musicians
Would another soul bring music?
Would music bring another soul?
I once feared that I would
Never know the answer...
But a single lone soul entered
Into my theatre and sat beside me
A few minutes later the symphony arrived
A single soul brought with it a symphony
This soul does not know they are the one
Laughter is the music of the soul
And it is you who brought me the symphony
Laughter is the music of the soul
And you play my soul like a symphony
