Twas you I loved with all my heart
Till you tore that love apart
You showed me you never cared
And that life is ever so unfair.

When last to me you did speak
You left me with words so bleak
Wrong number...were the words you spoke
That crushed my heart as it broke.

We were friends or so I thought
As well as lovers left uncaught
But you showed me how little you cared
When you left me washed in tears.

I cried and cried for days gone by
For times we spend and time that went
I wondered what would I do
For my thoughts were of you.

You broke my heart without a care
You crushed my soul and not a tear
You showed me in everyway
That I was garbage to throw away.

Now I'm left with no hope
Wondering if I'll learn to cope
Afraid to live, Afraid to trust
Not wanting love's sweet touch.

You taught me how to fear
To never let another near
That love is just a lie
And friends will pass you by.

So now I hide within my world
Which will make me a lonely girl
Never letting anyone in
Will this pain never end?

So now I must go on
To face the future for the past is gone
I'll never forget the lessons taught
And all the pain that your love brought.

Tis to you I say at last
Your lesson will certainly last
Pain is what you left for me
And fear for evermore.
