Beneath the majestic sight,
small and reduced to size,
I stand watching in awe
nature's display of might
dazed by the silver light
of the towering waterfall.

Wrapped in mystical spray
life, like its very source,
finds the least resistance
unforgivingly carving its way
unstopable in its course,
mirror of my own existence.

And in the quiet of the roar,
blind to the unbending will,
to the promise of the rainbow
willingly I again sell my soul,
in its beauty deeply lost still
to remain eroded by the flow.
