A sky on a spring day
Before a rain shower yet upon
The dusk at the end of the day.
I would fly from
The badness of life
And touch the clouds.
The deepest and cleanest ocean
With the animated fish aglow
I swim with what I know
And what I’m lacking
And I can breathe still
For the deepness of your eyes
Keep my lungs in tact.
A baby after its first lesson of life.
It’s questioning eyes darting
Soaking in information
He will need to grow in to a man like you.
Yet through all the experiences
In which your binoculars represent
Nothing is better than seeing into that aspect
The aspect of blue
That you don’t see…when
You look at me with understanding
With those eyes that take me
To the ends of my dreams.
