-Home-
Looking out to the black space
A window for all fear and pain
A shadow cast to hid my face
The tears in my eyes…the rain.
How I wish I could be home.

Many decisions a split second times
A falling in the heart and soul.
As the clock makes thunderous chimes
I figure the one thing my mind stole.
How I wish I could be home.

Understanding is an overstatement made
Only one or two understand
What an undermining cavalcade
A conspiracy controlled by man.
How I wish I could be home.

You can cover your blue eyes
The innocence is being washed away
A God and Satan in disguise
Put in your face and there to stay.
How I wish I could be home

The rain is meant to wash away fear
Yet the evil can’t truly leave
It makes me long for those who were dear.
The heart I could never retrieve.
How I wish I could be home.

Being sorry and happy all in your head
The hand that a grip could not hold.
A feeling of liveliness and the urge to be dead.
Trying to be strong yet still not be too bold.
How I wish I could be home.

The hands that loved you hate you
And the one who cared most disappears
When you thought love was true
Fakeness comes with your darkest fears.
How I wish I could be home.

The man and symbol—heroes
Yet a heart can save all
The right and happy knows how it goes
Where there is levitation, there is fall.
Oh how I wish I could be home.
