Surburbia-)
--The webpage I'm in a partnership with. There is a poem from me and one
from BUCHONGER (okay, that's not his real name but he likes it so it sticks)
plus a thingy with music on it. There are some cool pictures on there.
I am amazed at BUCHONGER's artwork on the thing. So check it out!
A shrine to broken dreams --This was the first site I looked at when I was looking for inspiration for my page. I don't have enough time to make mine like his, and I was afraid that the writer's poems on the site were a little....revealing...but that's a poet's life and I think the author should get a cookie for the hard work.
Expressions Poetica -- This page had to have been made professionally. A lot of time and effort was exerted into this page. What I loved about it was the fact that the poems were on GIF files. Some of the words swirled onto the file like the words were written on the paper like waves of the ocean.
Falling Silver --WOW! This guy did a really great job on his poems. I read the very first one, GREEN, and I loved it. You knew what he was talking about, yet it was so deep I couldn't relate to his situation as well as he could. He writes very well, and I was impressed.
The House Without Doors --This person had the collections of poems more organized than mine. But not only were there poems, but MUSIC too. So I'd check this one out.
Scribblings --This is a private viewing of different students' poems in one big archive. Check out JOEK...trust me on this one...he writes about theatre. There are plenty of different poets you can choose from.
Karen --This is
the site of a writer who can do it all. Essayist, poet, etc. And she makes
a good webpage too.
If you have your own poetry page or know somebody who has one, email
me at
[email protected]
I'll be willing to look at the site, and possibly put it on as one
of my favorite sites ever. I'm not a search engine though, so don't get
angry if your site doesn't make it.
