-Looking-
Why am I still looking
If I found what I was looking for?
My heart is happy
But yet is still yearns for more
I’ve found my love but he is far
And it is the separation
That brings me on my search
He wants me, but is it a phase?
Will he realize that he can turn the page
And will find a gorgeous light
More brilliant than me by far?
I hope no for I have known no other
Who reads me like a book
And with his gentle gaze he can look
And see my bare thoughts
He says I’m his only one
And I can’t be replaced
A value in his heart I am
So profoundly enthroned
And yet I’m here, alone.
His arms not here to warm me
Or his wisdom to ease my troubled thoughts
“Don’t’ give up, I’ll give you that chance”
but the words are echoing
echoing in my empty heart
this heart of mine cannot
love a ghost, nor the spirit
I must have the flesh
And the warmth of a real love.
I cannot move on, yet I cannot stay.
I cannot stay away from my thoughts
And how his wisdom is wanted!
I found my treasure
My search had ended when I saw him
But I must keep looking
For he is not in my sight
I know what I am looking…
