-My Mind-
This corridor we call my mind
Is probably the most confusing place
To exist in, with its unbelievable
Truths and mistaken faults
That I have held in forever
Walking in my corridor
Is an adventure in itself
Even though there aren’t evils,
Ghosts, and robbers at your back.
No need to run on the unstable
Floor panels of flesh and blood.
Touching the walls of my mind
Is the absorbing of my knowledge
And I know only one
Who’s been able to do that.
Knowledge that has been acquired
Absorbed into the walls of eternity
Where my youthful body will keep them
Until I can eventually understand.
You could walk forever but
The legs will grow tired from the sights
Look for the door, on the left
The left is the hand I never use
In that room, a million thoughts
Are extinct objects.
White room of pure non-existent
Thoughts never dreamt, thought,
Never fathomed nor thrived
Meditaiton for your soul, for it
Was willing ot walk along my
Mysterious corridor—gratitude
Congratulations, or maybe a
Reward for being brave enough
To withstand my crazy mind
To walk down that corridor
Will you stop thinking of it all?
Traveling the expanse of my mind
Cannot provoke ideas for you
You never took a look at my heart
You cannot take my ideas and exploit
Them as your own.
My knowledge is mine alone
And the love I feel for the people
Whom I shared my mind with
Only exist due to their
Total and utter respect for my thoughts.
