An Angel Saved Me
As I wake each morning,
I look to the sun,
Casting its warm rays
Upon me.
I turn on my side and see you sleeping,
A gentle angel,
So close and
So near.
You wrap your comforting arms around me,
Pulling me into your heart.
Your eyes burn into me with
Intensity.
A million lost souls have wandered this way.
One one has been caught by the light.
One hand has been grasped,
And one life saved.
I was that soul,
You were that light.
It was your hand,
I was saved.
