A Picture on my Wall.

A face, so recognized... and yet, unknown,
I remember the voice, so young in it's tone,
The beautiful smile that you'd wear all the time...
"I love you." I'd say.
But now i don't use that line.

A face, so entangled... and yet, straight,
But just that smile would the plain-ness break,
And the eyes that say that you'll be fine...
"I love you." I'd say.
But now i don't use that line.

A face, so believed... and yet, so untrue,
A mask for the lies that have made me so blue,
I remember the hair that hangs down, held in time...
"I love you." I'd say.
But now i don't use that line.

The picture of you, on my wall say's so much,
Mostly of lies that you'd told of our love,
But i'll let it remain, to recall you were mine...
"I love you." I'd say.
But now i don't use that line.

A short disclaimer :
It has been known for people to take offense to my poetry...
And think i'm a twisted black individual... who is arrogant and distasteful...
This is not true (well, for the most part!) and if you do find anything i write offensive,
please, please don't write to me and tell me, or complain.
As a poet, i have poetic licence! :) ... i'll write what i want,
and if you don't like it... Don't read it!!! :)
