A Tear Is...

A tear is like happiness... it relieves us of pain.
A tear can be sad, but after tears, smiles again.
It's strange that a torent of tears down my face,
Stops me from stabbing my heart without grace...
For i believe that i would... truly i do,
I would shut up my eyes and run myself through,
And i might do it yet, so i all count the days,
But i can't seem to do it... so here i will stay.
For i'm a chicken you see, not a headless one though.
For that would be foolish as you and i know.
But perhaps something missing there is in my life?
But i can't help desire my end with a knife...
There is something missing i am sure, please believe,
In my wishes, my fears or my hopes and my dreams.
But as i say, i cry about these,
It makes me so sad, but understand, please,
That after the downpour of sad salty tears,
Has left my heart and i've released all my fears,
I'll be smiling again, like the sun through the rain...
So a tear is like happiness... it relieves us of pain.
