Bored of the Corp.

I sit here on my own,
Staring blankly at the wall,
I'm totally surrounded,
And it makes me feel small,
A man in grey he looks at me,
And he passes me distasteful comment,
To say he doesn't like my work,
And he talks but doesn't listen.
I keep my eyes fixed on the wall,
And I close my ears up tight.
Four walls my friend, Four walls my den,
Four walls that gleam so white,
They reflect the things I do all day,
They reflect the people's voices,
The reflections pointing right at me,
Now I'm running out of choices.
Another word said in my ear,
A few more points to make,
A verdict without warrant,
Just save your breath for heavens sake.
I'm bored with the perplexity,
I'm bored of back stabbing suits,
I'm bored of all the tell tale lies,
But I'm stuck here like a root!
A root with no beginning,
A root without an end,
A root that knows no other place,
and I have no arms in my defense�
To defend against the corporation,
To aid and help my cause,
To make my day untroubled,
To not be threatened by the sword,
The sword of all the Kudos,
That is promised every time,
The sword of all the moneys,
Now is time to draw the line.
I think I'm gonna up and out,
I'll make a stand, you'll see,
I'll find myself creative freedom,
In a position right for me.
