Instead of you.
HA HA... i
say, to these foolish ghouls,
That hide beneath my bed...
BE GONE... i say, to the dreamy monster,
That resides inside my head...
GET OFF... i say, to the bulbous mass,
That sits upon my shelf,
LEAVE ME ALONE... I will say to them all,
I want to be alone... by myself!
MOVE ON... i say, to the blackened hag,
That wourbles past my window...
STAY OUT... i say, to the invisible man,
That moves between the shadows...
SHUT UP... i say, to the howling wolves,
That howl in time with the singing elf...
LEAVE ME ALONE... I will say to them all,
I want to be alone... by myself!
But what would i do if they all up't and left,
For then, who would i say this all too?
And what would i want to replace all these things...
For i'd rather keep these than have you!
