Once upon a home.

I see a tall and lonely building,
Standing, so alone.
It's seems to be unhappy...
Yet, that used to be my home.
Inside we had such times of joy,
Myself and once my lover,
It used to keep us safe, and warm,
But now it homes another.
Perhaps that's for why it seems so sad,
For i loved it's walls so well,
But once my love had left the door,
It was not a place i wished to dwell.
I'm saddened now to think of what,
I have left inside that home.
All the thoughts of once my love,
For that girl i had loved and known.
But, as i say she left my side,
And joined hearts with someone else,
So i packed my bags and left my home,
And stayed lonely with no-one for help.

I see a tall and lonely building,
It's windows, have tears, as if eyes.
I know now, that it's unhappy...
So for now i shall join it and cry.

A short disclaimer :
It has been known for people to take offense to my poetry...
And think i'm a twisted black individual... who is arrogant and distasteful...
This is not true (well, for the most part!) and if you do find anything i write offensive,
please, please don't write to me and tell me, or complain.
As a poet, i have poetic licence! :) ... i'll write what i want,
and if you don't like it... Don't read it!!! :)
