In The Valley Of The Shadow: CAMM G.O.KING. (Pg 3)
H.J.Solomon Dialect Translation Third World Caribbean Dialect
THE JOURNEY Contd.
You know, I sit down, I ponder
Four-day morning,(but was three O'clock),
All by meself, so I think,
I look up, see a Shadow man,
Come up to me,
Just like the shadow I think he be;
Man, I nearly jump out me skin,
Come up an' talk to me:
Pull out a match, strike,light up a weed,
But I can't see no face to read.
I jump up to run, but I hear him say,
Sharp, Loud! Crystal Clear:"WAIT!"
"I will take you through this City
White is black as white,Search for PITY!"
You know what I say in me mind?
Look Cross, Jumbie ghost turn up everywhere,
An' you know?Want to turn History back, Fool you, stop you from tekking up slack!
Still, I say let me see what he have to show,
I know Good ain't bad an' bad ain't Good,
An' this City have plenty of both under the Hood;
An' nobody but God could ever stop the flow!

"COME, See grin-face where is no laughter,
Come,See cries of rage following after!"

ONE AND ONE EQUALS THREE
I decide to go, 'cause I know
The Lord is ever with me;
I figure out I might get to learn
How One and One equals Three, an' how
GOD, who is Three, is surely ONE!
