Mr Needham requested my assistance on the Mawley Hall Heritage Trust Project. This is a potential multi-million pound housing development at Cleobury Mortimer to safeguard the future of one of the town's most historic buildings. Rupert Galliers-Pratt of Mawley Hall is considering plans to build new homes, holiday units and other facilities on the estate of his 18th century Grade One listed property. I produced an eight page glossy brochure to be presented to the planners. This included a rendered site plan and various perspective views of different house styles designed by the architect.
January 2000 to July 2000
I freelanced for various architects in Harare, in particular Daniel Mandishona Architects. He was the architect for a large extension wing to the Rainbow Hotel at Victoria Falls. I was responsible for the presentation through to the completion of working drawings and detailing. I also attended site meetings on behalf of the architect, liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and Contractors. While working for Daniel Mandishona Architects the company won a tender for Time Bank being an eight story building in the city centre to include a two level car park, banking hall and retail units valued at Zimbabwe Dollars 300 million. I was solely responsible for the design and presentation of this project.
