9th July 1999 :::: Grandad's last birthday of the old Millennium !!!!!!

Bear season was busy this summer after last winters record snowfalls, and many a hungry bear was destroyed in BC's residential areas ( 29 in North Van. and over 600 in total in the province)

This half-grown male paid a breakfast visit to our friends Sandra & Ron, but returned empty handed to the forest .

Family event of the year

Our fifth granddaughter, Tessa, was born on the 12th June, to our daughter Terry and her husband Neil, and is the thrill of a lifetime to her three year old sister Emma. The Stallard family live on Willowhill Farm near Mtunzini, Zululand, South Africa. We dearly miss them as a result of our move to live in Canada.
