B.B.Q. Sauce For Ribs

3 lbs pork spare ribs

1 medium onion chopped

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp dry mustard

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

3 Tblsp cornstarch

1/4 tsp ground cloves

2 Tblsp vinegar

1 Tblsp lemon juice

1 cup water (dissolve cornstarch in it)

1 14 ounce can tomato sauce

braise the ribs until cooked (about 2 1/2 hours) add sauce and cook in 350 degree oven until the sauce thickens
