Ceylons (fudgy oatmeal/coconut cookies) not baked

2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup margarine or butter

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp. vanilla

bring to a boil on the stovetop

add all at once:

3 cups quick-cooking oats

1 cup long shredded coconut

2 squares unsweetened baker's chocolate (melted)

mix well and then drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper chill and then serve
