The Mighty
Oak
Standing oh so tall and proud
Amongst the other trees
Never losing sight of things
Or letting others know it's
needs
The needs to have some loving
care
And some nurturing as well
Some understanding friends
Or just someone it could tell
That life isn't always what
it seems
In fact it's further from
the truth
To what it had expected it
to be
Not what it was told in it's
youth
You know trees are much like
humans
They live as long as they
possibly can
Until the day that they are
taken
To a peaceful painless land
A land so high above the world
Where it's branches can be
free
To keep a watch over siblings
That mighty and strong oak
tree
