Raised Pie Pastry

5 1/2 - 6 cups flour

2 tsp salt

2 tsp sugar

2 tsp baking powder

cut in 1 lb lard or shortening till crumbly

1 egg 1 Tblsp. vinegar water to make 1 cup (total liquid)

add to flour mixture and mix till dough forms a ball
