Time

Time is a precious gift we are given at birth, that we depend on

We learn to use it in so many ways both good and bad

As a baby we soon learn that time is what seperates our feedings

Then as we grow older we realise that time is how long we can play

Once school starts we watch the clock and wonder when the day will end

Then if we are fortunate enough when we are even older, we meet someone special

And time takes on a whole new meaning for us, not when will the day end,

Instead the question becomes why does this day have to end

We often get very wrapped up with worrying about time

When what we should really be doing is enjoying the time we do have

As we get even older we start to realise that our time starts to run out

A little bit is lost every day, until eventually it is all gone

Some of us run out of time at a very early age while others have so much more

If we use the time we are given to make every minute the best it can be

I think we would reap great rewards from it, like using it to be with friends or family

Being with friends is a wonderful reward that also needs to be treasured

Being with family is one of the most valuable rewards ever made available to us

So the next time you think to yourself I don't have time, remember to live in the moment

You do have the time in that moment, where tomorrow it may be taken away from you

Don't waste what precious time you do have, be it ten or even one hundred years

Make each second of your time on earth the very best possible and treasure it as it should be

My grandmother once told me 'don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today' such wise words

They are words I do my best to live by, as time is something that we don't know the ending to

If there is something I really want to do...I try to do it at that moment, if at all possible

I have in my forty years on this earth, learned how quickly the time clock can be halted

I am no longer using up precious time on frivolous things, and even my computer time has importance

For it is with my computer that I am able to spend valuable time with friends from all over the world

If my time were to run out tomorrow, I at least know I have spend the time I had, making the most of it

Think of how differently you would use your time if you knew this was your final few hours to enjoy it
