One day an ugly monster I met
To his dinner I was invited
His invitation I did accept
Although I was a bit afrighted
Into a dining hall he took me
Quite huge and mervelous to behold
``But where,'' I asked, ``is our dinner?
For surely it must be getting cold.''
``I fear I have misled you my friend,''
Said he with a grin so sly
``You're not to eat dinner with me
For some of my friends are stopping by.''
``Sir what can you mean by this,'' I cried
``Surely you can't plan to eat me.''
``Oh but I do,'' he said, ``deep fried.''
