Some Issues
&
Thoughts
(ok so I happen to like that
song from seal and I have it on
my 3 pages...)
I have quite a few,
guess that makes me somewhat
opinionated. Or
maybe just very informed.
First
If you're a woman
reading this and you're
in an abusive relationship.
GET OUT.
You're fooling yourself
and your children
if you think it's going
to change.
If he's promised never
to hit you
again guess what?
He's going to
and next time he may
hurt you very badly.
If you have children,
they deserve better
than that. Your
daughter(s) will grow up thinking
it's ok to be hit.
Your boy(s) will grow up thinking
it's ok to hit.
It takes a lifetime to undo that
kind of thinking.
Abuse doesn't just arrive
like a nightmare one
day, there's many warning
signs.
1) belittles or puts
you down
2) gives you a weekly
allowance.
(we do that with our
children not adults)
3) makes you stay at
home not allowed to
work.
4) accuses you of all
kinds of things
when you are out of
the house.
I think you get the
general idea.
Second.
If you have a child
that needs help in an emotional
psychological sense,
get it for them. I have a special
needs child, and I was
in denial for a long time.
Getting him the help
he needed is not only a
parental duty but obligation
to the child.
They too have to live
in this world, and you need to
prepare them for that.
Third
Our world has changed
so much over the past
few years and it's a
shame that we all just can't
live in some kind of
harmony.
Learning how to live
in a less chaotic society
means that we ourselves
need to take time to
"smell the roses".
So do something nice
for just you.
Life is supposed to
be enjoyed, yet most
people are way too busy
for that.
When we as human beings
find inner peace
perhaps then we can
start with the rest of
the world.
I read a book a few
years ago now , called
The Celestine Prophecy
This book enlightened
me and gave me
peace that I didn't
have before.
Like any book, some
parts I liked while
others I didn't.
It's worth it to read.
I went around for 3
days after saying
"wow that made sense."
Well I guess that's
up to you.
That's it for now I'll
probably add more soon.
May peace and harmony
be yours.
