There they lay, so innocent, so true
With their heads on a soft pillow, asleep
Dreaming of dragons and princesses and shining knights
Or maybe they dream of some thing else
Maybe they dream of their future
Of firefighters, teachers and police
The army, taxi drivers and businessmen
Maybe they are to young to dream of such things

There once was this girl i loved so well
She stole may heart away from me
Now she's going to see it free
I went to her house to see wat was up
When i got there she was with a boy other than me
So i ran home to cry on my bed
Not a word to my mother was said
My father came home later that night
He looked for me from left to right
Up the stairs to my room he broke
To find me hanging by a rope
So he whipped out his knife and cut me down
And on the ground a note he found

Dreams
My heart is falling apart,
Without you here with me.
I cry all the time,
I just wish you would see,
How much I care about you,
That I would do anything for your love.
I continually think about you.
I wake up to hear your name sung by the morning dove.
But I cannot quiet my heart,
Because your lips are caressed by somebody else.
I walk by and see you with her,
My heart turns green for I am jealous.
I dream we could be together,
We would lie beneath the sky.
Just you and me,
Seeing eye to eye.
Then I wake up,
Engulfed by reality.
Knowing you are with her,
My heart will never rest peacefully.
