Impressions from Brunel Campus
This is Uxbridge Campus. The university was built in the 1960s and therefore
displays more concrete architecture than one would appriciate. Strange times
were those.
The lecture centre houses almost all theatres and classroom. All the lectures
I attend are given in this building. As you might imagine one doesn't get
any light inside this building which has stange effects on the human
psychology: When you attend a lecture between 1 and 2 in the afternoon you
get the impression that it's actually dark outside. Therefore stepping
out of the lecture center and seeing daylight is always a surprise.
Another stark display of architecture gone wrong. The library is infamous
for it's small stock of books. Fortunately I don't have to use it too often.
