SilverMind History

Rob SilverMind has been creating works of art in gold, silver and gemstones since 1976. Along with the traditional and not so traditional jewellery designs, his work has included components of  NHL trophies such as the Masterson, Con Smythe and Hart Memorial Award. He has also done a 2 1/2 lb. sterling silver reproduction of a tank awarded to a leader of canadian UN forces by the enlisted men.

The SilverMind was originally located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for 14 years. After moving to Kingston Ont. Rob SilverMind worked out of Kim Snyder Studios for a couple of years and then worked out of a store called Very Shari, also located in Kingston. These breaks from the responsibility of running a business allowed him the time to develop his unique style. In June of 1998 he moved to Squamish, BC.

Now from the beautiful mountains of British Columbia he's testing the waters of the WWW. This web page is an effort to free himself from the day to day tedium of city living and get back to the job of creating unique pieces of wearable art.

If you have always wanted a piece of original jewellery then please feel free to contact him.

Wow! It sure is weird talking about yourself in a way that you hope will make people interested. Really folks. This is just a one person operation. I work out of my studio in the mountains and would love to be able to sell some jewellery so I can make a living and keep doing what I do.
