"Morella"
The place we call home.
We have 50 acres nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. The
farm is in the south eastern part of Queensland Australia. We are
120 km from Brisbane which is the capital of Queensland. It takes
1 1/2 hours to drive there. There are two small towns within
30mins drive , but you still need to travel further to get some of
life's little necessities.
We are only a small stud . Starting out isn't easy to do
but living in an area which most of the time could only be
compared with Eden, compensates for any inconvenience. Our farm is called:
"Morella Poll
Hereford Stud".

Herefords are a very quiet animal. They are easy to handle and a
pleasure to have and care for. They originated in England and
were taken to America and Australia. They have been cross-bred to
keep up with market requirements. They are coming back into vogue
now as tastes change.

Boer Goats
Boer Goats originated in South Africa. They are becoming a much sort after breed mostly for their meat. The export trade for Boer goat flesh is increasing all the time.
We do not breed them for sale for such purposes. We hope to limit our sales for the personal market.
These Goats sure are characters. A quick look at the photos is worth the effort.

Guinea Fowl
Guinea Fowl are a native of South Africa. Colours include : Lavender,Royal Purple,Buff,Black, White Breasted, and Slate.

Other animals

Without the help of my best friend and wife, to whom I owe my life, this page would not be possible. After I spent a lengthy time in hospital, we decided to take the plunge and fulfill a lifetime dream to own our own farm [pictured top of the page].We now live and work in our own piece of heaven.
