This photo was taken with a digital camera. The photo was imported into Corel8 PhotoPaint and masked off and put onto a new background. It was then desaturated, and the texture and blemishes were removed. This photo in the finished art was scanned from an old calendar, which does not mention the photography. The masked/object face was put into the scanned picture and graphically manipulated and several other effects were added for the completed art.
