Some FamilyPhotos From the Twenties

I Was able to get the family photos from the early years of my parents and present here a sampling of these early 20th century pictures as we in turn enter the early part of the following century.  Most of the pictures are in and around Philadelphia PA, USA

I am not certain if the upper figure is my father

My mother rose posing probably in Farimount Pari in Philadelphia
where she and my fathe rmet and were married

My father on the left with his friend Harry Koenitz who became a
successful Hollywood writer who wrote screenplays for Bogart and Baccal, but
during this period lost out to Sam Solot in the quest for Rose Enger who
became Rose Solot and died in 1999.  My father died in 1994 at 85.  My
mother was 89  and they both died in Boulder Colorado where they resided
for more than thirty years on 15th street on the hill above CU.

When my mother's mother Ann Enger saw this picture she exclaimed
"The Madonna!"

Two of my mother's friends in Atlantic city when the only gambling was for
a pack of cigaretts for winning at Keno.

Rose in the middle and possibly Sabina on the right and Leona on
the left but I am not sure.
