The
lone remaining sanity
in the
spectacle of the world's bewildered and crazy times...
About
being ‘always connected’.
I
believe, even if we didn’t have this e-mail technology,
or
even if we didn’t even get to talk on the telephone
–
if phone technology had never been invented…
somehow,
someway…
we
would’ve remained connected,
in
‘our’ cosmic kind of way…
the
way only we can understand, and nobody else.
Funny
how I never liked being excluded from anything, and now…
I
feel like I only want to include one other person with me,
in
that crazy insane world I call home.
I
say and use the tense we would’ve ‘remained’ connected,
for
the simple reason being that I feel that we’ve always been connected all
this time,
while
on our stay on this grounded world
we
call Earth.
Being
angels...
and
being from the ethereal world of the sky and beyond…
existing
on this plane of so called ‘existence’
–
of drama, deception and betrayal,
it’s
been easy to forget, and even harder to remember.
In
these “Ashes of Time”,
we
forget that we are not of this world,
that
man-made boundaries
such
as time, matter, space and place,
have
no real relevance to creatures that can dream.
Like
imagination is an alternate reality,
so
too is remembering what we’ve long since forgotten…
and
it’s in the tear drop awakenings...
that
ripple across the sub-conscious ponds that remain unscathed in our innocence
that
we are stirred from our comatose slumber of forget.
We
try to forget,
because
why live in the memories...
and
the misery of knowing
that
we may never again
find
the one other being out there
that
those man-made boundaries separated us from?
We
wallow in bitterness and become so engrossed in our own ‘miserablism’,
that
we try so very hard to forget.
But
ironically…
what
we try the hardest to forget,
is
what we remember the most.
and
so in remembering...
“When
my life is through… and the angels ask me to recall, the thrill of them
all…. I shall tell them, I remember you…”
