Bahrain was the second port of call that we went to during Westpac 97.
It was the worst of all ports due to it's extremely high temperatures, it's strict rules, and
lack of available women.
On the average day the temperature rose to approximately 120 degrees F, this limited our partying endourance and ability to drink a large quantity of alcohol.
Enother negative aspect of Bahrain due to it's heat, is the fact that you cannot hide from it.
There are no trees
Strict rules made everyone have to think about what they were doing at all times.
There are only two major rules that I made sure I followed
In Bahrain it is considered an insult to point your foot at someone.
So if you ever go to Bahrain, make sure you are causious about how you are sitting.
Someone may take offense to your feet.
In Bahrain everyone eats with their right hand. ( so you had better do the same)
Why? ? ?
In the middle east, when you have to go #2 you don't use toilet tissue.
No... you use your left hand... Yuck ! ! Ide get offended too.
