Johnny's wife lay in her bed, a cold sweat dripping from her head.
"I'm scared" she cried, "My death is near
Though it's not my death that feeds my fear
The thought of being underground, unable to hear the faintest sound
The though that feeds my greatest fear, is lying alone without you near"
Johnny leaned towards her cheek, whispered softly warm and meek
"I promise you now I promise you this, I promise you now with a kiss,
I'll never leave your side"
A smile rose on Betty's face a tear rolled from her eye
Her face turned pale systems fail departure with a sigh
One year went by to this very day that Johnny's wife passed away
To him a life without his wife was a day without the sun
The sun went down depression found his life too was done
So Johnny woke late that night intensions held to make things right
He hired a friend for a hand to lend, oh yes he had to pay
Then they went down to the graveyard where old Betty lay
So there he was just because he felt as though he lied
It's just not fair his wife was there, he'll never leave her side
He dug and dug till the moon went down, a knock on wood his shovel found
He opened up the casket door, her once beautiful flesh now dripping gore
He leaned up close towards her cheek, whispered softly warm and meek
"I promise you now I promise you this, I promise you now with a kiss,
I'll never leave your side"
He crawled up in her coffin, forver there he lied

What if you found out your life was a dream

An illusion made of steel

Would your dignity fall as you crash through the wall

With the knowledge that nothing is real?

Ask yourself, be honest and true

WHAT EXACTLY WOULD YOU DO?
