A crippled boy all alone wheeling home from school
Runs across a couple kids known to be so cruel
They make him stop, role from his chair
They bend his wheels, shave his hair
The crippled boy lies on his side
His head is shaved, his hands are tied
He throws his arms up to the sky
Yells to the world a sorrow cry
The wind blows strong a miracle song, his toes begin to feel
The numbness stops reality hops, A miracle made him heal
Have you ever had a friend who never argues back
You play a game he does the same always right on track
I lift my arm up to the sky then look onto the ground
His arm is raised just as high
He never makes a sound
No matter where or when it is he's always at my side
Unless the light goes away, then he likes to hide
A game I've played before to find him in the dark
I know he's there I feel his stare, he never leaves a mark
Then a light comes on or one I'll walk upon, my fear built up inside
I know he's there I feel his stare, he must be at my side
Then with a big smile he lies on the tile just benaht my feet
My shadow ran till the light began, our friendship can't be beat
