Lantern Making Workshops
As a prelude to the festival Lantern making workshops are to be held at the Jack Russell pub on Tuesday 13th June 7.00 - 10.00pm and again on Monday 19th June from 6.00 - 9.00pm . These lanterns will be carried from Old to New Marston at the end of Marston Millennium Festival and again as part of the 'River of Light ' parade to South Parks on Saturday July 1st. If you would like to make a lantern please contact Lin MacDonald on 01865 247668 to book a space - the workshops are free.

We held a public meeting in Royal British Legion hall on 20th May 1999 where those present decided to form a MM Festival committee:
