Empty
Exposed

Empty

There are bars between you and I;

Inseperable as we are,

No one can show me love.

An empty life,

No more thoughts,

No more tears,

No more.

I can move through you for

I know you better than myself.

Each new phrase is heard, unspoken.

A meaning to live, search for it.

A moment of truth, live for it.

A moment of love die for it.

But you know,

It is all so empty,

So pointless.

A change is what I crave.

I hunger for you,

And without you I starve.

An empty soul within me,

Filled when I am with you.

Suffocated, you stand there,

Unable to inhale

The air you need.

Holding each breath,

Waiting for the right words to come.

A look between us is all

It takes and you know me.

Yes, you know me better

Than you know

Yourself.

A guist of air from where I stand:

You need it,

Take it,

Die for it,

Because I am already empty.

Exposed

Only words heal the sick

and your actions made me cry

All you kisses, rude awkenings,

Under sheets and memories buried

Breathing slowly, rythm set

decided happiness and

Peacefulness demanding love;

Respect

Up-side down and spun around in

a wheeling cycle of excitement

Blowing wind and sparkling stars;

Bright, unleaking night

Eyes that stare so deep and

naked thoughts exposed

Expolited to the world,

which acts falsely surprised

I'm hiding in the cobwebs

with that musty smell

and greenish light

Tonight there seems to be

some wicked spell that casts one

last glowing ember at

my bare feet
