Me: My name is Clare Parsons. I started writing five years ago and I have been drawing all of my life. I am infatuated with beauty, perfection, and passion. I love the stars, music, books, and I have a tendancy to look for beauty in things, no matter how repulsive they seem to be on the outside. I am loud and friendly and sometimes obnoxious. For the most part though, you will see that my heart is good and I am just another person with a thousand words. The technical stuff about me is:
Eyes: Hazel (they change with the seasons)
Hair: Naturally medium brown/dyed auburn
School: Virginia Marti College of Art and Design
Fave Book: The Never Ending Story by Micheal Ende/Siddhartha by Herman Hesse/The Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice (I can't ever decide.)
Fave Movie: Great Expectations/Gia
Fave Song: Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Tori Amos live version is great)
Fave Colors: Purple/Green
Goals: This guy I used to know told me to just live. That is all that my million goals consist of; living and making the most out of every day.
Why the Heart of Chrome? The World Of A Chrome Heart seemed fitting because I was reading a back of a cd cover and I saw a little heart in the corner with a ribbon enscribed with "Chrome Heart" wrapped around it. It got me to thinking how wonderful it would be if, sometimes or whenever we willed it so, we could have a heart of chrome, so that we could be numb, not feel pain, not suffer, not even feel pleasure. If only we could rise above all of these mortal coils and find Nirvana in a sense. I think that would be the ultimate goal for mankind.
Music: I love music, any kind. My cds consist mostly of the following though: Joni Mitchel, Carole King, Tori Amos, The Cranberries, Far, The Dave Matthews Band, Lauryn Hill, Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Frank Sinatra, and the incredible Duke Ellington. I also like some of the harder stuff, like The Deftones, Incubus, Korn, The Mosquito Bitten Bastards and even some punk: Blink182, Area51, Swind7le.
So enjoy yourselves.
