Purple Room

Next on our tour of the Chambers' home is The Purple Room. I like to think of this room as kind of a "breathless interlude" on our tour or a room that give's a glimpse of truth behind a veil of appearance.

This Royal room opened officially to guests on December 25, 0003. Do you hear the voices that are coming from the room. These are the voices of those who are acting on the Great stage that has been built into this room. Guests will certainly enjoy watching the ongoing play that is preformed here. The play underway right now is under the keen direction of a triumvirate group, headed by Mr Chambers' father.

The purple room was solely designed to tell the story of the time when our garden city fell into the evil hands of Benedict Fleefrom whose mismanagement brought it to the brink of ruin; then rescued by Mr Chambers, prospering under his management ever since.

Our most excellent Playwright Mr Chambers, stages in this room his very own prefect and completed works, telling of the Elizabethan era. He plays the lead roll in the retelling of His story.

Mrs Chamber's first appears on the stage during the tragic garden scene, then in later scenes, plays the roll of bride to Mr Chambers. She is quoted as saying, "I feel so very fortunate to be apart of James' great production. His is a drama worthy to give your life to. The restoration scenes where James conquers death are by far my favorite."

Also seen on stage from time to time is - world renowned trickster and magician Benedict Fleefrom.

Benedict had a unfavorable habit of upstaging the other actors by bowing and waving to his fans during their lines. Mr Chamber's Father spent some years tring to reform him without success. Finally leaving him to his own destruction. Benedict, He said, was the only person he has ever kicked off the stage in his ongoing direction of the stage.. Mr Chambers once said, "I have never seen his total lack of respect for Father's direction equaled. He the "enfant terrible" of the stage".

The actors customs are stored directly behind the stage.. There you will find a complete array of hand-woven customs everything from shepherd's wear to that of a king. The customs are made from the finest wool coming from Mr Chamber's own sheep. The wool is sheared from the sheep, then washed perfectly clean. All customs designs were original creations of Mr Chambers' father and have been registered as His, in the "BIG BOOK".

Now prepare yourselves to watch the play by sitting in our fully equipped room and enjoying a glass of wine in front in the stage."

You will notice in the first act there is only darkness. Then out of the darkness comes the sound of Mr Chambers' Father voice, and the darkness suddenly takes on a blue color. The blue intensifies and divides. The blue becomes the sky of day and the dark becomes the night.

In the second act we hear His voice again and we see the waters separate from water and there is morning and evening.

In the third act we hear His voice again and we see dry ground appear..that produces seed-bearing plants and trees.

In the forth act we hear His voice again and we see lights in the sky. These serve as signs to mark the seasons..Two of the lights govern the night and day.

In the fifth acts we hear His voice again and see created.. birds who fly in air and on top of the land and underneath the water all forms of life, which continually increase in number.

In the sixth act we hear His father's voice again and we see a man and a women who are made out of the Chambers image and likeness...who come out of the center of His Love.

Later on in the play we learn that Mr Chamber's mission is to give His life (literally) teaching about His father's great redeeming love and to lift up His Father's Holy name. Mrs Chambers' love and desire in life is to carry on her husband's great mission by spreading the goods news far and wide of her husband's perfect work and telling of repentance and forgiveness of sin through Him. She does this by using the principles employed by her Husband and by seeking His infinite wisdom in all things. She strives for a balanced household and tries to approach all people as a special and unique individuals.

On the day the purple room was completed, Mr Chamber's Father had a good long rest and the light that continualy burns above the stage is there to symbolize and remind guests of the Elizabethan Era and her anticipation of James second descension on the stage, Nothing less could prepare the way for His second coming.
